Beyond Meat give more details on plans to go public, aim for $1 billion valuation
Beyond Meat has revealed more details on their plans to go public and aim for a valuation of around $1 billion.
It’s initial public offering is expected to be of 8,750,000 shares of will be priced between $19.00 and $21.00 per share.
Recently the company CEO Ethan Brown told Forbes that they want to make plant-based options more affordable.
“We have an ambition to be part of the generation that separates meat from animals.
“You don’t do that by thinking small, you don’t do that by having a couple chefs and food scientists.
“There’s no reason this shouldn’t be cheaper than meat, and to get there we need to make investments in the supply chain.”
