Dairy company organising school visits as part of Februdairy campaign

A dairy company in Jersey is having school visits as part of the #Februdairy campaign.

Jersey Dairy are then letting the children know about the "health and environmental benefits of milk" and "addressing animal-welfare issues"

Marketing officer Jess Burton told the Jersey Evening Post:

"We are extremely proud of our Jersey milk and all of the products which we produce.
"We have a challenge on our hands with increasing dairy alternatives, so our aim is to educate children from a young age on health and environmental benefits, and address animal-welfare issues."

The Februdairy campaign was set up to respond to Veganuary.

Tom Perchard, whose has a herd at La Ferme Farm added:

"There’s a lot of pressure being put on agriculture at the moment, and in particular the dairy sector.
"Everything we do is being picked apart. It is like we have been put under a microscope and we want to correct falsehoods that are being put out by certain groups."
