Florida based animal shelter offering food and medical help during government shutdown
A Florida based animal shelter helping pet owners who may be affected by the U.S. government shutdown.
The Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is offering to take care of food and some medical expenses through their "Peggy's Pantry" scheme.
The West Palm Beach centre has received a number of calls according to their CEO.
Richard Anderson said: "The last thing we want to see is a family feel like they have no choice but to surrender their animal simply because they can’t afford to feed them,"
"This should be really simple solution for people who are struggling right now."
