Hundreds of thousands expected to take part in Veganuary
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to ditch meat and dairy this January.
Veganuary is aiming to get 350,000 people on board this year.
In 2019 a quarter of a million people took part including naturalist and TV presenter Chris Packham.
Queen star Brian May, who has campaigned on animal rights issues including badger culling, has already confirmed he will go plant-based for next month.
Toni Vernelli, Veganuary’s Head of Communications, says:
“Veganuary 2020 is shaping up to be the biggest year yet with one person signing up every 15 seconds!
“More and more people are choosing to fight climate chaos with their fork, and these new statistics show just how big an impact we can all have by choosing plant-based foods.”
