"KILLING VEGANS" EDITOR GETS NEW ROLE AT BRITISH NEWSPAPER
William Sitwell has a new role as a restaurant critic at The Telegraph newspaper.
Sitwell resigned as editor of Waitrose Magazine after he joked about 'killing vegans' when asked about a series on plant-based meals.
The Telegraph's deputy editor Jane Bruton, said: "I’m delighted to welcome William to The Telegraph and his new weekly column will be an insightful addition to Saturday’s magazine.
"With a wealth of experience as a food critic, author and broadcaster, he will bring a unique voice to our existing roster of talented journalists and critics."
Sitwell says one of his first reviews will be on a plant-based meal.
