Quarter of a million hens die during fire in Michigan

Around 250,000 hens have died during a blaze at a Michigan poultry site.
The fire took place on Tuesday night at Herbruck's Poultry Ranch.
No humans were injured in the fire with the company operations re-starting the next day according to
Berlin-Orange Fire Chief Matt Bennett said that it would difficult to determine the cause as the building housed four chicken coops under one roof.
He said, “It makes it real tough to get water where you want it when there's essentially four buildings in one.”
