Scotland ‘on verge of something big’ with oat milk boom
A Scottish farmer has urged fellow farmers to jump on the oat milk boom.
Gordon Rennie says Scotland is the ideal location for oat crops.
Sales of plant-based milk continue to grow in the UK and Rennie believes Scottish farming is ready to provide the oat variety.
He told The Sunday Post:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for Scotland, coffee chains and small cafes around the UK are using oat milk.
“Oats are Scotland’s indigenous crop. We grow the best oats and have the best, purest water. We could be on the verge of something big.”
