Success of Animal Rebellion to be assessed at VGN Climate Summit in London
Updated: Oct 12, 2019
Direct action group Animal Rebellion will be appearing at a VGN Climate Summit in London.
The rebels are currently on the streets of London promoting a message on the impacts of animal agriculture on the climate, alongside environmental group Extinction Rebellion.
But has it been a success?
On Sunday 27th October, Dan Kidby, Mark Lancaster and Esther Salomon from Animal Rebellion will appear on a panel to look at whether the group can be the link that bridges the gap between the animal rights movement and the movement for climate justice.
Animal Rebellion is a mass volunteer movement demanding that the government end the destructive animal farming and fishing industries, and lead a transition to a just, sustainable plant-based food system.
The VGN Climate Summit is taking place at VegFestUK.
The Summit will also feature representatives from the University of Oxford and Harvard University as well as soap brand Dr. Bronners, fashion designer Joshua Katcher and more.
