The Vegan Society and Vegan Publishers among speakers at VegFestUK Brighton

The Vegan Society and Vegan Publishers will both be giving talks at this year’s VegFestUK in Brighton.

The event takes place at Brighton Centre next month.

Dominika Piasecka, media officer at The Vegan Society, will offer advice on generating positive news for animals and how to get coverage for veganism.

Piasecka’s talk will be in the Radical Veganism room at the event.

Casey Taft, co-founder of Vegan Publishers, will take part in a question and answer session looking at abuse within the animal rights community and trauma psychology.

Vegan Publishers was formed in 2013 with a mission to publish a range of books that promote social consciousness and awareness related to veganism.

Also at the event is poet and activist Selena Caemawr, who will be looking at how ableism manifests and how the vegan community can make room for people with disabilities in our movement.

VegFestUK Brighton takes place on 23rd and 24th March at Brighton Centre, and tickets are available HERE.
