TV presenter Chris Packham to take the royal family to task over fox hunting
Naturalist and TV presenter Chris Packham says he will bring up the issue of fox hunting with the British royal family when he collects his CBE.
The star, who is taking part in Veganuary, will visit Buckingham Palace when he receives his CBE from the New Year's Honours list.
The 57-year-old says he will have "cheeky words" with the royals.
Speaking to the Radio Times Packham said:
"There will be lots of cheeky little words, I assure you. Nobody ever gets off the hook around me.
"You don't get many opportunities in life but if I meet someone of influence I will use it. I don't care if it can be deemed inappropriate, it's important to say something.
"If it [the award] had been for broadcasting, I don't know what I would have done. But it's for services to nature conservation, and that's what I'm all about."
