Vegan activist didn’t eat as prison menu was full of animal products
An Australian vegan activist says he couldnt eat while in jail as the menu was full of animal products.
James Warden spent 48 hours in custody over two counts of trespassing and two of stealing and aggravated burglary.
He is accused of stealing a calf and a piglet.
Warden told News.com.au some people said he should just eat:
“Some of them just said ‘go and eat some meat’ and that kind of thing.
“The experience I had was nowhere near as bad as what animals are going through. They are suffering daily, and I only had to put up with 48 hours in custody.”
