Updated: Feb 25, 2019
The team behind VGN will be speaking at this year’s VegFestUK in Brighton.
The event will see a number of food stalls, talks and cookery demos and takes place at Brighton Centre in March.
VGN co-founder Tom Lane will co-host a talk with author and lecturer Christopher-Sebastian McJetters on questioning what we read.
There will also be the FIRST EVER VGN live podcast, where the gang will discuss the topical animal issues of the week, host an interview, take questions from the audience, and have a quiz where the audience has a chance to win prizes.
VGN Co-founder Tom Lane said:
“Originally when I said we should get this show on the road I didn’t mean literally, but I guess it works!
“We are looking forward to attending VegFestUK, giving what will be a useful talk alongside Sebastian and also entertaining guests with the VGN Podcast, it should be a fun weekend and I hope to see you all there.
“We want the live podcast to be the first of many opportunities for us to get out there and do our thing!”
VGN will be appearing the radical veganism room in Brighton.
Also featured as part of that stream is researcher and equality campaigner Trent Grassian, who will be giving a talk called “Vegans don't live in a bubble: The central importance of the social world in understanding veganism.”
VegFestUK Brighton takes place on 23rd and 24th March at Brighton Centre, and tickets are available HERE.
